How your information is protected
A practical overview of the safeguards built into Journey Panel.
Private by design
Birth dates are excluded from member views, administrator screens, session data, notifications, and normal audit details. Group members see only names and surnames.
Secure access
Passwords are hashed, forms use CSRF protection, sessions expire and rotate, and account changes can invalidate existing sessions.
Accountability
Important user changes and legal acceptances are recorded with timestamps. Hard deletion is blocked for protected history.
Dependants
An under-18 account is restricted while guardian consent is pending or withdrawn. Administrators are notified without receiving the dependant's birth date.
